The dopaminergic agonist apomorphine produced dose-dependent stereotypic climbing behavior in mice housed in cages with vertical bars. This drug effect was competitively inhibited by systemic pretreatment with the centrally acting dopaminergic antagonist haloperidol but not by microwave irradiation
