Autoradiographic studies were conducted on the binding of 3H-GABA and 3H-muscimol in cultures of rat cerebellum. Binding sites for both substances were observed on many cerebellar neurones, such as Purkinje cells and interneurones, but not on glial cells. Binding of 3H-GABA and 3H-muscimol was inhib
