β¦ Synopsis
A n-MoSe, photoanode has been stabilised in an acid chloride solution by grafting it with polycarbazole. The mechanism of stabilisation has been investigated and it appears to be a process of regeneration of the n-MoSez on the anode by reaction between Se and polycarbazole. The grafted electrode is potentially useful for applications in photovoltaic power sources.
