The structure of the title compound, C 16 H 36 N + ÁPF 6 À , has been reported previously by Angaridis, Cotton & Petrukhina [Inorg. Chim. Acta (2001), 324, 318±323]. However, these authors found the PF 6 À ion to be heavily disordered and they did not publish any coordinates. We present here a redet
The title dimethylhydrazide o-FC 6 H 4 C(O)NHNMe 2 , or C 9 H 11 FN 2 O, is compared structurally both with other aroyl hydrazides, ArC(O)NHNH 2 , and with related trimethylammonio ylides, Me 3 N(+)ÐN(À)C(O)Ar.
The Cu atom in the title compound, [Cu(C 5 H 11 NO 2 ) 4 ](PF 6 ) 2 , shows square-planar coordination. The asymmetric unit comprises one eighth of the molecular formula.
