## Abstract The construction is described of a simple counter for measuring the conversion electron Mössbauer spectrum of the inside surface of a tube. The counter is used to investigate the effects of adding ferrous sulphate to the cooling water of condensers with brass tubes to inhibit corrosion.
In-situ Mossbauer spectroscopy has been used to study the catalytic role of SnCI, and its interaction with the IL6 coal during hydrogenation. The measurements have been recorded under three different atmospheres of nitrogen, hydrogen, and hydrogen in the presence of a heavy distillate solvent SK-II
The MIClssbauer spectra of bis-dithioacetylacetone tetrachloro ferrate (ll) and tetramethyl ammoaium tetrachloro ferrate ml. at 78oK were found to be similar and consistent with the tetrahedral coordination of Fell ion to 4'Cl: anions.
