β¦ Synopsis
Both the primary and resulting yields of the multiphoton dlssonabon (MPD) of (CF&CI upon CO&scr irradiation are found to depend strongly on the CO+ser radiation frequency. The consecutive multiphoton frwmenration of (CF~JC radicals produced in the MPD of (CF3)&1 is shown to occur at several laser frequencies during the same C02laser pulse. The increase in the irotopic selectivity of the overall MPD process due to multiphoton frzmcnration and hcncr the possknhty of selective MPD at higher pressures arc dlscusscd.
