The thermal calculations for Y-Ba-Cu-O and Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O thin films under pulsed excimer laser irradiation are deduced from the resolution of the one-dimensional heat flow equation, using the most recent values for the thermal and optical parameters of these compounds in the UV range. The time evolu
