A new Monte-Carlo program for simulation of low energy electron scattering in solids is presented. Applications to electron microscopy and electron microprobe analysis are discussed. The spatial distribution of absorbed energy in irradiated matter can be conveniently described by dosepoint-kernel (DPK) distributions that characterize the average energy deposition around single chargedparticle tracks during their slowing down process. In the present work, electron DPKs in liquid
