## Abstract The design of a simple coplanar waveguide (CPW)‐fed inverted C‐shaped monopole antenna with symmetrical ground plane is initially proposed. Its dual band operation is able to cover the entire wireless local area network frequency spectrum at 2.4, 5.2, and 5.8 GHz. By simply tuning one o
