β¦ Synopsis
The I R spectra (KBr disks; 2000 to 400 cm-1) of ( I ) and ( 2) are almost identical with each other and very similar to the IR spectrum[121 of the analogous tin complex[131; ( I ) and ( 2 ) show three bands between 1380 and 1280 cm-1 at 1329, 1307 or 1304, and at 1281 cm-1, whereas the tin complex has only two bands in this region at 1335 and 1287 cm-1. The IR spectra of ( I ) and (21 are characteristic of phthalocyaninmetal complexes [Ill.
