## Abstract Platelets induce osteoclastogenesis in total bone marrow cultures where hematopoietic cells can interact with stromal cells. Whether or not activated platelets directly act on hematopoietic cells to promote their differentiation into osteoclasts remains unknown. Here we report that plat
