Malignant mesotheliomas (MMs) are pleural-, pericardial-, or peritoneal-based neoplasms usually associated with asbestos exposure. Mesothelial cells are biphasic and may give rise to epithelial and sarcomatous MMs. In addition, benign or atypical proliferations of mesothelial cells may occur in resp
