We have isolated from the olfactory and olfactory organ, G b immunoreactivity was almost organ of the American lobster (Homarus americanus) exclusively confined to neurites: the neuropil regions two cDNA clones with homology to b subunits of G of the brain and the outer dendrites of the olfactory proteins. LobG b1 contained a complete open reading receptor neurons. Coimmunoprecipitation revealed frame that predicted an amino acid sequence with that lobster G b interacted with both G as and G aq . ΓΊ80% identity to G b sequences from other species.
