โœฆ Synopsis

One of the results derived in the different esperimcnts performed with hot atoms moving in gaseous medium is the ratio CY~/CY~ for two moderators. It is shown that this ratio equals the ratio (l+?l)/(l-c?i) where _LIi = (m-Mi)'/(mt&Ti)' i = 1.2. The masses 112 and Mi are those of the hot and inert atom, respectively.

Existing and new data of the self-ignition time delays of several atomized liquid nitro/nitratelnitrite hydrocarbons in air or oxygen in the submillisecond range were analyzed. Alkyl-NO, alkyl-NO 2 , and alkyl-ONO 2 compounds were used as representative liquid fuels. Alkyl radicals were mostly C n H

Advective heat and mass transfer in a saturated porous medium is numerically studied here. A geometrically simple model has been used to study adsorption and desorption effects between the fluid and the solid matrix. The common assumptions of spatial and temporal equilibrium between the two phases
