## Abstract To perform agricultural drainage of clay soils under sugarcane monoculture, a new kind of slot drainage was developed. A special implement produces slots of approximately 6 cm width and 95 cm depth, which are filled with crumbly soil substrate. After heavy rain, a large amount of water
