A diode-pumped Q-switched ceramic Nd:YAG laser operating at 946 nm has been demonstrated in our experiment for the first time. β¦ Synopsis
Quasi three-level laser operation of Nd:YAG at 946 nm is reported. Applying an end-pumped configuration pulse energies of more than 2 mJ @ 14 ns at a repetition rate of 10 Hz have been achieved. This output performance corresponds, according to the authors' knowledge, to the highest reported values for such compact passively Q-switched solid-state lasers emitting around 0.9 ΞΌm.

The third near infrared stimulated-emission spectral range of Nd:YAG ceramics at room temperature has been demonstrated. For the 4 F 3/2 β 4 I 9/2 transition emitting at 946 nm 1.35 W laser output have been achieved under 808 nm laser diode pumping at more than 20% efficiency similar as for crystall
Q-switched microchip laser emitting radiation at wavelength 1338 nm was designed and constructed. This laser was based on a monolith crystal which combines in one piece a cooling undoped part (undoped YAG crystal), an active laser part (Nd^3+^:YAG), and a saturable absorber (V^3+^:YAG, __T__ ~0~=85%
We present for the first time a Nd:YAG laser emitting at 1064 nm intracavity pumped by a 946 nm diode-pumped Nd:YAG laser. A 809 nm laser diode is used to pump the first Nd:YAG crystal emitting at 946 nm, and the second Nd:YAG laser emitting at 1064 nm intracavity pumped at 946 nm. Intracavity sum-f
The continuous wave (CW) and passively Qswitched Nd:Gd3AlxGa5-xO12 (Nd:GAGG) laser operation at 938 nm have been realized for the first time. The maximum CW output power of 0.44 W was obtained under the absorbed pump power of 8.54 W, corresponding to the slope efficiency of 7.8% and optical-to-optic
In this paper, we present the using of a c-cut Nd:GdVO4 as the laser media, V:YAG as a saturable absorber and LBO as nonlinear crystal to obtain the passively Q-switched intra-cavity frequency doubled red laser at 670 nm and forth harmonic generation at 335 nm UV laser. Using dual end pump configura
