Blissctt from n mixture of first-yenr seeds of the following coinposition, sown at the rate of 39.5 Ib. per ncro : 25.3% ench of S 23 pcrenninl rycgmss, Swdish cvccgreen pcreniiinl ryegrass, and smooth mcndow grnss (Poa prateitsis), 7.6% ouch of crested dogstnil, chewing8 fescue, and Agrostis fewis, nnd 1.3% of Kcntish wild ahitc clover.
It was treated with n mixture. of four pnrts of water to one part of molnsses at the rate of 48 lb. of molasses per ton.' After scaling, the coiitcnts of the silo were alloived to rcninin for five months. The coinpleted silnge ans of good feeding quality nnd lmd a rich olive-green colour nud a sweet lnctic odour.
