A high-resolution analysis of the {ν 2 , ν 3 } and {ν 4 , ν 6 } bands of the two isotopomers of chloryl fluoride F 35 ClO 2 and F 37 ClO 2 has been carried out for the first time using simultaneously infrared spectra recorded around 16 µm and 26 µm with a resolution of ca. 0.003 cm -1 and microwave

✦ Synopsis
The high-resolution infrared spectrum of the 8 band of SO 2 F 2 ( as SF 2 ) centered at 887.2 cm Ϫ1 has been recorded with a resolution of 2.4 ϫ 10 Ϫ3 cm Ϫ1 . More than 8000 transitions of the C-type band with ⌬K a ϭ Ϯ1 (and in addition some ⌬K a ϭ Ϯ3 transitions) have been assigned. Microwave and millimeter-wave spectra of the v 8 ϭ 1 state up to 450 GHz have been recorded, and 177 pure rotational transitions have been measured. Rotational and rovibrational data have been combined, and excited state parameters up to sextic centrifugal distortion constants have been determined using a Watson-type Hamiltonian in S-reduction. No perturbation was indicated.

High-resolution ( approximately 3 x 10(-3) cm-1) FTIR spectra of the planar SCF2 molecule have been recorded in the range of the four lowest-lying fundamentals nu2 (789.535 cm-1), nu3 (526.697 cm-1), nu5 (419.546 cm-1), and nu6 (623.187 cm-1). The infrared spectra of the 2n 8 , n 2 / n 8 , and 2n 2 bands of methylene chloride have been recorded both for isotopically pure CH 35 2 Cl 2 and for a natural mixture with a resolution of 0.0044 cm 01 in the range 2450-2900 cm 01 using a Bruker IFS 120 HR Fourier transform interferometer. High-resolution (⌬ ϭ 2.3 and 2.9 ϫ 10 Ϫ3 cm Ϫ1 ) FTIR spectra of natural and 35 Cl monoisotopic CH 3 CF 2 Cl have been recorded at Ϫ70°C in the 600 -1400 cm Ϫ1 range. The bands 7 , 8 , and 15 have been rotationally analyzed for both isotopic varieties. With the help of predictions based on 8 paramet
High-resolution infrared spectra of the ν 1 and ν 2 bands of DCCCl were observed using Bruker IFS 120HR Fourier transform spectrometers at resolutions of 0.0044 and 0.0035 cm -1 , respectively. For the DCC 35 Cl isotopomer, the ν 1 as well as the ν 2 band was found to be heavily perturbed. Detailed
