Because of the high thermic and molecular stability allied with a high hydrogen content, the parapolyphenyl (C6H4)% was designed to be tritiated at a very high speciJc activity and used as target for the production of 14 MeV neutrons in accelerator.
This paper presents the microsynthesis of tritiated polyphtnyl. Two syntheses have been undertaken, the specijic activity of which are respectively 11 CImM and 31 CImM.
The isotopic yields and autoradiolysis of these polymers have been tested.
