✦ Synopsis

Culture conditions for abscisic acid accumulation by Cercospora rosicola were tested. Additions of corn steep liquor and CaC03 as pH controller to potato dextrose medium raised ABA accumulation to 300 ug/m.l or mre in 20 days; a medium comprising glucose , cornsteep liquor and minerals could replace potato dextrose.
