The annual Medal Day exercises at The Franklin Institute began at 6:30 P.M. on the evening of Wednesday, April 16. There were approximately 410 members and friends of the Institute who attended the dinner and the presentation of the awards.

A reception in honor of the Medallists and their friends was held prior to the dinner.
