Abstraet--A radiolysis study of aqueous solutions of Nifurtimox (ArNO 2), an antiparasitic drug, has been performed in the absence of oxygen. The absorption spectra of three ArNO 2 intermediate reduced species have been quantitatively characterized: the radical anion ArNOz, the nitroso derivative Ar
