## Abstract ## Objective Pain during mechanical stimulation of the joint and spontaneous pain are major symptoms of arthritis. An important neuronal process of mechanical hypersensitivity of the joint is the sensitization of thin myelinated AΞ΄ fibers and unmyelinated C fibers innervating the joint
