✦ Synopsis

Starting from Xhurkov's and Bartenev's theories and connecting them with Bailly's theorem and the structural analysis based on the rheological model, a method of determination of parameters describing the durability of multifilament is presented. Experiments carried out on polyester and polyamide filament yarns confirmed proposed method.
