โฆ Synopsis
The goal of this paper is to discuss a method which allows an accurate determination of the linewidths and the lineshifts from FT spectra recorded at room temperature, by fitting composite profiles and taking into account the phase errors. The results of the measurements of the pressure effects on some (\mathrm{CO}, \mathrm{H}{2} \mathrm{O}), and (\mathrm{CO}{2}) lines in the (5-\mu \mathrm{m}) spectral region are used to test the method.
