โฆ Synopsis
Angular distributions at 0 ยฐ < 0s _< 10 ยฐ were measured for the Coulomb dissociation of 8B in the field of 2ยฐSpb at Ein=51.9 MeV/u. The data were analyzed using a quantum mechanical method where El, E2 and g=2 nuclear amplitudes are included. Extracted very small E2 components supports our previous analysis assuming a pure E1 transition in extracting $17 factors for the rBe(p,v)SB reaction.
