โœฆ Synopsis

A techniqvc is reported for me&wing triplet spin-lattice relaxatioc times in fluid solution. It is based on the observation of phemically induced electrob spin polarizstion, in the prewlce'of a triplet quencher. Spin-lattice relaxation times of the order of 10 ns are repWed for the dilroquinone triple t in various solven'rs.

The relaxation of chemically induced electron polarization (CIDEP) in photoexcited triplet benzophenone is measured in competition with triplet quenching by 2,2'-azobis[isobutyronitrile] (AIBN). The spin polarization, transferred to the resulting 2-cyano-2-propyl radicals, is determined by time-reso

Calculation of tissue TI in double spin-echo imaging (90"-T-I 80"-2T-1 SO0) using two repetition times (6, and b2) has entailed an approximation that ignores the two 180" pulses. The theoretical consequence of the simplification is to overestimate TI with a fractional error that increases with incre
