## Abstract The SELective INverse detection of carbon–proton CORrelation pulse sequence that yields a 1D spectrum of a proton directly bonded to a selected carbon resonance has been converted into a proton and carbon double‐selective variant that provides a ^1^H spectrum of a selected proton that i

✦ Synopsis
Extensive broadening of the lines of an NMR mnltiplet induces errors in the measurement of the coupling constants. In order to make corrections to the measured splittings in these cases, analytical expressions for doublets and triplets and correction curves are given. The practical example of 3J(POCC) in alkyl phosphate micelles shows the necessity for such corrections when slow molecular motions occur.

The structures of multiplets in one-and two-dimensional NMR spectra can be simplified by recursive deconvolution in the frequency domain. Deconvolution procedures are described for inphase and antiphase doublets of delta functions. Recursive simplification is illustrated by applications to double-qu
