โฆ Synopsis
Activity coefficients of sodium bromide in aqueous mixtures of sodium bromide and lithium bromide were determined by e.m.f. measurement at T = 298.15 K and at six different ionic strengths from (0.1 to 2.5) mol โข kg -1 . The experimental results were fitted using the Scatchard-Rush-Johnson and Pitzer models. The osmotic coefficients, excess Gibbs free energies of mixing, and activity coefficients of lithium bromide in aqueous mixtures were calculated using Pitzer mixing parameters obtained in this work.

The mixed aqueous electrolyte system of ammonium and sodium chlorides has been studied by the hygrometric method at the temperature 298.15 K. The relative humidities of this system were measured at total molalities from 0.3 mol โข kg -1 to 6 mol โข kg -1 for different ionic-strength fractions of NH 4
The activity coefficient data were reported for (water + potassium chloride + DL-valine) at T = 298.15 K and (water + sodium chloride + L-valine) at T = 308.15 K. The measurements were performed in an electrochemical cell using ion-selective electrodes. The maximum concentrations of the electrolytes
