The existence of run-away solutions in classical and non-relativistic quantum electrodynamics is reviewed. It is shown that the less singular high energy behavior of relativistic spin 1 2 quantum electrodynamics precludes an analogous behavior in that theory. However, a Landau-like [1] anomalous pol

The changes in dimensions and lattice parameters produced by irradiation in two reactors with very different dose rate have been studied over the temperature range 400-700ยฐC. In this range it is found that the activation energy associated with the equivalent temperature concept is not constant. It i

Change of behaviour of ESR in artificial graphite with annealing which had been damaged heavily in reactor was studied. The irradiation dose was 5.8 x lOa nvt at 30ยฐC. The temperature dependence of the absorption intensity showed that the spin centers were composed of free carriers and localized spi

The thermal shock disk testing method developed by Sato has been modified to use a moving electron beam as a heat source. The electron beam furnace used in this study allows the testing of samples up to 300 mm in diameter and 30 mm thickness, which is sufficiently large for coarse-grained graphites.
