✦ Synopsis

A procedure for the generation of ideal ¨oltage source models whose effecti¨e generator impedances are matched to the transmission lines they dri¨e is presented. These matched source models offer impro¨ement o¨er existing ideal ¨oltage source models for the computation of dri¨ing point impedances. The ¨alidity of this technique is established both analytically and experimentally.

In this paper, we present a new transmission line transformer which is capable of matching a load resistance RL to a given source of internal resistance R , in a frequency independent manner. This matching can be made perfect at all frequencies if R J R , = 4 ; for R J R , # 4 , the matching can sti

## Abstract A novel approach for modeling the discontinuities of transmission lines such as conductors with bends and varying size is proposed. The effect from the discontinuities is incorporated in the per‐unit‐length parameters of nonuniform transmission‐line equations. For canonical problems, ou
