✦ Synopsis
In this paper, we present a new transmission line transformer which is capable of matching a load resistance RL to a given source of internal resistance R , in a frequency independent manner. This matching can be made perfect at all frequencies if R J R , = 4 ; for R J R , # 4 , the matching can still be made frequency independent but the power transferred to the load becomes less than the maximum available power.
