Abstract
The mass spectra of four oxymethyleneβlinked perfluoroaromatic compounds are reported and discussed. Proposed ion structures are substantiated by precise mass measurement. The principal fragmentation pathways involving scission of oxygen to methylene bonds are supported by appropriate metastable peaks.
Parallels between the electronβimpact and thermal behaviour of two of these compounds are noted.

The mass spectra of eight N-amino compounds are recorded and discussed, together with some data from literature sources. COMPOUNDS in which an amino group is attached to a nitrogen atom have rarely had their mass spectra recorded, and do not appear to have been studied systematically. \* The mass
