## The energy band drspersion E = E(k) IS determined for the valence bands in a longxhain alkane )r-C3sH74 by angleresolved photoemission from an oriented polycrystalline sample using synchrotron radiation. Comparison nith theoretical calculations for a singe chain shows good qualitative agreement
