Ingersoll Rand Co Ltd has purchased the assets of privately-owned ZEKS Compressed Air Solutions, a North American provider of compressed air treatment equipment.
"ZEKS augments our leadership as a global provider of innovative and comprehensive compressed air systems," said Herbert Henkel, chairman, president and chief executive officer for Ingersoll Rand. "With the addition of ZEKS to our business, we extend our portfolio of highly efficient and reliable compressed air technologies, and bolster our distribution network for the entire line of Ingersoll Rand compressed air products and services."
Founded in 1959 and based in West Chester, Pennsylvania, ZEKS Compressed Air Solutions develops and manufactures compressed air treatment products, including air dryers, filters and system controllers, which maximise the productivity and reliability of compressed air systems. Sold through distributors primarily in the US and Canada, ZEKS' products are used for industrial and manufacturing applications in a range of industries.
ZEKS will now operate as part of Ingersoll Rand Air Solutions, a business unit of Ingersoll Rand's Industrial Technologies Sector.
