TUMO~RS of the spermatic cord are rare and it is unusual to report 2 cases from one surgical firm only 6 weeks apart. In the first case a secondary teratoma of the cord presented considerable difficulties i n diagnosis, whereas i n the second a neoplastic condition appeared likely from the first visit to the out-patient department.

CASE REPORTS

Case I.-Mr. M. O., aged 50, is a Turkish Cypriot. He had had a right inguinal herniorrhaphy in 1965. I n January, 1967, when a military policeman in Cyprus, he was assaulted and, among other injuries, was struck in the subgroup B (M.T.1.B) (Testicular Tumour Panel and Registry;. Examination under the anaesthetic revealed no palpable para-aortic nodes. There was no lymphadenopathy, the chest radiograph was clear, and subsequent lymphangiography showed no abnormality of the iliac or abdominal nodes.

Background. Teratoma of the thyroid in adults is a rare neoplasm and is usually seen in young females. Most of the thyroid teratoma are malignant. The tumor appears as a dominant mass in the thyroid gland and is often associated with local lymph node involvement. We describe our experience of primar
