## Abstract Lipids in the sex pheromone gland of females of the Z‐strain of __Ostrinia nubilalis__ were analyzed for fatty acyl pheromone analogs (FAPAs) and other potential biosynthetic intermediates. More than 80% of the FAPAs were found in the triacylglycerols (TGs), with smaller amounts found i
