โฆ Synopsis
The (MgB 2 ) 1รx Co x tapes, where x = 0.0, 0.01, 0.03 and 0.05, were prepared using powder-in-tube (PIT) method. The magnetoresistance properties of the samples were investigated under applied magnetic field of 0-6 T. The T c at 0 T was obtained to be sharp, however, became broadened by increasing the field. The activation energies, U(H), of the samples were calculated using Arrhenius law. It was found that U(H) decreased with increasing the field and Co-addition.

B-rich and SiC-doped MgB 2 tapes were fabricated by a modified in situ PIT method with two-stage heat-treatment, using Mg flakes with little oxide film. Combination of heat-treatment and rolling process brought about a dense MgB 2 core and a strong inter granular connectivity. For all B-rich MgB 2 t
It was possible to produce Co+Cu multilayer and alloy 5lms controlled in the atomic scale by electrodeposition. We have examined the magnetoresistance (MR) in the Co+Cu multilayers and the alloy 5lms produced by electrodeposition and have investigated the relationships between the magnetoresistance
