## Abstract A low cost conventional halfโwave microstrip linear resonator has been designed at 2 GHz central frequency and fabricated photolithographically by depositing metallic films on prepared LiMnTi polycrystalline ferrite substrate. Resonator characteristics have been examined by keeping it i

โฆ Synopsis
A yttrium-iron-garnet (YlG) film microstrip line in a ring configuration has been analyzed, and tunable characteristics are obtained by changing the angle of inclination of the dc magnetic field direction. Sharp notch characteristics are found with more than 40 dB at X band and tunable range of 10. 64-11.06 GHz is obtained.

It is demonstrated theoretically and experimentally that this waveguide works as a device for microwave pulse compression and for short pulse generation. According to the
## Abstract A new type of microstrip coupler with complementary splitโring resonator (CSRR) is proposed. The characteristic impedance of the even mode can be enhanced by etching CSRR structure in the grounded plane of a conventional microstrip parallelโcoupled coupler. This results in a higher degr
