✦ Synopsis
A method to separate superconducting particles from sintered superconducting powder including non-superconducting components has been developed. It selects and condenses superconducting particles with making use of a force which acts on a particle in an inhomogenous magnetic field. The superconducting particles exhibiting higher T¢ can be selected from as-sintered pellet specimens of Y-Ba-Cu-O and T1-Ba-Ca-Cu-O.
