## Abstract In order to fabricate thick SmCo~5~ film, the dependences of the magnetic properties of SmCo/Ru/Cu/Ru films and its multilayer films on the SmCo layer thickness were studied. The SmCo/Ru/Cu/Ru film with the SmCo layer thickness up to 200 nm showed the perpendicular magnetic anisotropy w
