Measurements of electrical resistivity and specific heat have been performed on the tetragonal ternary compound PrCu 2 Ge 2 . The resistivity shows a inflection and a sharp drop with a hysteresis around 14 and 4 K where the specific heat also shows a l-type anomaly and a jump, respectively, which ar
