โฆ Synopsis
Magnetic field effects on the NO2 photolysis rate at an energy range below the dissociation threshold are shown to be identical to those observed in fluorescence. According to the data obtained, both the 'B2 and *B, states of NO2 are reactive. The high pressure data have been explained in terms of an excited collision complex (NO*):, which is efficiently quenched by collisions.

The effect of a magnetic field on the fluorescence of carbon disulphide vapour under stationary excitation by light with A = 313Ok 30 A has been investigated at 0.014-165.1 Torr. Over the whole range of pressure, the magnetic effect does not depend on the gas pressure. A magnetic field has been foun
The effect of a magnetic field on the escape of alkoxyl radicals from the solvent ca8e in n-propanol at 213 I< has been investigated. The alkoxyl radicals were obtained by photooxidation of n-propanol with the aid of p-beruoquinone m the triplet state. The radicals that escaped from the cage were tr
