โœฆ Synopsis

CRESU measurements of rate coefficients for the reactions of Het and C+ with HCI, SO2 and H2S are reported at 27 and 68 K. The results are compared with those obtained using three different ion-dipole theories and good agreement is obtained.

Several orders of magnitude enhancements in the rate constants for three slow ion-molecule reactions with Hz have been observed when the H2 is vibrationally excited. The atomic cations C+, He+, and Ne+ were all observed to react near their respective Langevin rates with vibrationally excited HZ.

Two Q branches of C 2 H 2 near 716.3 and 719.9 cm -1 of โ† symmetry have been studied for He and N 2 perturbers at pressures ranging from 0.05 to 0.8 atm and low temperatures (-75 and -90 โ€ข C) using a tunable diode-laser spectrometer. To interpret the strong line-mixing effects observed in these spe
