β¦ Synopsis
Phosphorescence of low density polyethylene induced by 6 MeV electrons was observed in the temperature region 10-285 K. Decay of phosphorescence at temperatures below 7-relaxation region follows monoexponential equation. Above this transition, for T >/169 K kinetics can be described by two term relation. At low temperatures phosphorescence life time z T is temperature independent while at higher ones z T exhibits strong temperatures dependence. Time resolved emission, spectrum at T = 20 K is presented. Tentative conclusions are postulated.

## Abstract The use of laser radiation to initiate the crosslinking process in ultra lowβdensity polyethylene (ULDPE) and highβdensity polyethylene (HDPE) was evaluated. The process was found to be most effective for pulsed laser irradiation when the polymer was traced with a photoinitiator: 4βchlo
This article reports the toughness improvement of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) by low-density polyethylene (LDPE) in oscillating packing injection molding, whereas tensile strength and modulus are greatly enhanced by oscillating packing at the same time. Compared with self-reinforced pure HDPE,
