We study quantum interference effects which are observed in the low temperature magnetoresistance of corrugated-gate wires fabricated in the GaAs/AlGaAs modulation-doped heterostructure system. Negative magnetoresistance, which appears over a large range of magnetic field, is observed. In addition,
