Low temperature fluorocarbon appears to be fuel resistant P recix has completed fuel testing on its -40 TG FKM elastomer, grade F103.
The company has published a series of results which compare the effect of a range of fuels on the new elastomer and established GFLT and GLT grades from the company. The fuels include Fuel C, four ethanol blends and 100% ethanol. The new low temperature grade appears to show less swell and lower changes of properties after 168 hours at +40ΒΊC.
