Mean lifetimes of the lowest 6 yrast band members in 110 Cd and of 9 excited states in 109 Cd, populated via the 100 Mo( 13 C, 3n/4n) reactions, have been measured using the Recoil Distance Doppler Shift technique (RDDS). The data have been analyzed using the Differential Decay Curve Method (DDCM).
