Spring-energised vacuum seals made from SP-45. a polymer-filled PTFE for use in rotating and reciprocating applications are being introduced by Bal Seal Engineering in July. The PTFE compounded material demonstrates self lubricating properties and wear resistance superior to elastomer and virgin PTFE seals.
