โฆ Synopsis
Several series ,~f shallow long-range (l 7~, lattice spacing) two-hole bound states on the Need background axe found in the two-dimensional t-J model. Their binding energ'~ depend exponentially on the inverse value of the hole-spin-wave coupling constant. The possible role of these states in the formation of superconducting pairing is considered. The problem of mobile holes in the t-d model is closely related to high-To superconductivity. The t-J model with less than half-filling is defined by the Hamiltonian

We present a description of the ground state and low-lying excited states of two holes in the 4 x 4 cluster t-J model in terms of a simple model for the motion of a single bipolaron. The existence of short-range antiferromagnetic correlations has been assumed. According to the suggested scenario, th
Long-range (r ~ p ~-~ >> lattice spacing) spin-wave exchange produces a very strong pairing of the holes. Solutions of the BCStype equation for the superconducting gap A are found for various symmetries. The strongest pairing corresponds to d wave symmetry. The physical reasons for the strong pairin
The bound states of p holes are studied within the two-dimensional two-band model with the antiferromagnetic exchange interaction between d and p spins, J. The binding energies of p holes are computed as a function of the Cu-O transfer and one of J within the mean-field theory with the periodic boun
